Storyline:
Corrie and her family live a quiet life in Holland until the Nazi Germany occupation. Convicted through their faith in Christ, the ten Boom family opened their humble home to protect persecuted Jews. Despite Corrie’s vision of being led away to a place she did not want to go alongside her family, she is steadfast in her belief that no matter what happens, God is in control.
This incredibly gut-wrenching story is one woman’s testimony of seeing true beauty when all around was ashes. Corrie’s experience of espionage, betrayal, entrapment, imprisonment, and then deportation to a Holocaust concentration camp – while clinging to the truth that God is good – is a powerful witness of a life truly lived for Christ. This story is about faith, suffering, forgiveness, and the power of God’s love to sustain and endure in all circumstances – He truly works all things together for His glory
Content Warning:
Violence and death, Anti-Semitism, Holocaust concentration camp.
