For a little child, the comfort of her fathers arms provides security, love and acceptance. Many people believe there’s more than one path to heaven, but I plead with you – come back to your Father God, the one who created you, treasures you and welcomes you into His arms. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the father except through me” (John 14:6).
In a world full of hurting people, where disease, fear, and unimaginable evil things are rampant, we all desperately need Jesus. Why? You may like to ask yourself these two questions…
Are you hurting and broken within?
There is not one person in the world living without hurt, trauma and pain… Yet God promises to “heal the broken hearted” (Psalm 147:3).
Are you overwhelmed by the weight of your sin?
There is also not one of us who can claim to have never done anything wrong. We’re overwhelmed by the weight of our poor choices. We reap what we sow and its not always the life we’d imagined. Our lives may be full of worry, anxiety, depression, addictions, regret, and damaged relationships. “For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” Romans 3:23. The good news is that you don’t have to stay in this place. You have a God who wants to make you whole. Jesus is calling you to Himself. He says “Come to me all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.
Come, the Father’s arms are open wide. Sometimes we’re scared, how could God ever forgive me? Or love me after the things I’ve done? Jesus tells us a story to illustrate the Fathers heart; “So he returned home to his father. And while he was a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him
and kissed him” Luke 15:20.
It’s time to leave behind your regrets and mistakes, come today there’s no reason to wait; “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23.
With this free gift a new chapter begins; from the ashes a new life is born! When you accept Jesus your sorrows are replaced with joy, fear with hope, death with life; “The old life is gone, a new life has begun” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Your forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. When you allow God to embrace you, ask Him to forgive you and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. “For God presented Jesus as a sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood” Romans
3:25.
Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen. God’s unfailing love saw His only Son Jesus, tortured and put to death on a cross to save us. Yet death could not hold Him, “Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him” Romans 6:9.
Bear your cross as you wait for the crown; “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me” Mark 8:34. Following Jesus will not be easy, in fact He tells us we will have many troubles in this life. But endurance and faithfulness, will be rewarded with supernatural peace and joy despite any circumstance we face in this life, and eternal life once we return home.
Tell the world of the treasure you’ve found; Don’t keep this treasure to yourself… “Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations…”Matthew 28:19. You are set free to help others be set free!
Jesus lived a perfect life and paid it all so that we could be forgiven for our wrongdoing and come back into relationship with our Father God and have eternal life. Come back into the Fathers Arms, there is no better place to be.
