Hi Friends! Welcome to Blossoming through Books.
My name is Renee. I’m a wife to my beloved husband Matt and homeschool-mumma to four sweet little girls – Evelyn, Posy, Winslow and Marigold – and one happy-go-lucky little boy – Walter. We live in Melbourne, Australia.
I’m a lover of coffee, beautiful literature and nature. I believe that sweet friendship’s refresh the soul and that extraordinary books can change a life.
Like so many of us, after years of poor experiences in relationships, lost friendships, and heartaches I found myself come to point of longing for better, and for healing. From my personal experience was I found my heart’s deep desire to behold women blossoming through tender and intentional relationships with one another, and to equip women to cultivate environments where this can happen. It’s for this reason that I founded Blossoming through Book – a community of bookclubs, a website, socials and resources made available to the world-over – that are aimed at equipping and encouraging women-leaders to discover the heart of a successful book club and unlock their own little blossoming communities.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey-to-becoming, sweet friend. Becoming the women, we were destined to be. Not known for fame or treasures, but for our faithfulness, kindness, and patience in Jesus and toward one another. Let’s be givers-of-life because of the honey words that we speak to ourselves and each other; women-leaders who guide others into deeper relationship with one another, and our God.
My prayer for you is this – “Let every breath that we breathe, be an opportunity to extend grace and love towards each other, just as our Heavenly Father so exuberantly pours His love into our hearts. Let our book club’s and women’s ministries radiate heaven in such a tangible way that each woman we lead blossoms through the journey. Amen”
