Who LOVES a great detective story?!
While this modern ‘whodunnit’ is no Sherlock Holmes, it was certainly a fun and intriguing read!
Full of plot twists (in all the right places), a hilarious Sherlock-Watson/best-friend amateur crime-fighting duo, a sweet and swoony PG romance, witty banter that had me laughing out loud, and of course, a series of gruesome murders, this one will keep you guessing!
One of my favourite parts of this book is the cheeky and intentional disregard for Ronald Knox’s 10 Commandments of Detective Fiction (which I tend to agree with!), but it was done in such a tongue-in-cheek and respectful way that I couldn’t help but enjoy the paradox!
I also really enjoyed the faith elements organically weaved throughout the story, it didn’t feel forced and brought a bit of light into the book
I LOVED it –
